Coventry Resident Promoted to Tax Director at BlumShapiro
In his twentieth year of public accounting experience, Bruce Desrosiers of Coventry has been promoted to Tax Director at BlumShapiro in Providence.

Coventry residentΒ Bruce DesrosiersΒ was recently promoted from CPA to tax director atΒ BlumShapiro, the largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm based in New England.Β
As a manager with more than 19 years of public accounting experience, Desrosiers provides tax services to clients in a variety of industries including privately held businesses, individuals, trusts, and non-profit organizations.

Formerly a Tax Manager at Sullivan and Company prior to its merger with BlumShapiro earlier this year, Desrosiers specializes in working with businesses, individuals and trust taxation. In addition, he serves on BlumShapiroβs State and Local Tax and Real Estate service teams.
A graduate of Providence College, Desrosiers received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant University and is the co-author ofΒ The Practice of Cost Segregation Analysis. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Coventry Public Education Foundation as Treasurer and is a member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.
