Coventry Sends Out Crews For Storm Cleanup
Public Works employees will collect yard waste and have a chipper for fallen branches.
COVENTRY, RI — Coventry residents can place their tropical storm debris for pickup Tuesday. THe Department of Public Works will have crews out throughout the day to pick up yard waste and break down fallen limbs.
Branches must be placed with the thicker, broken end facing out to make it easier to place in the chipper, the department said. Smaller branches should be bundled.
No logs will be collected, only branches up to 6 inches in diameter, up to 10 feet long. Nautral wood will be collected, no lumber.

The department may not get to all neighborhoods Tuesday, and will continue collection efforts throughout the week.
