Coventry Students Bitten By Dog During School Hours

Students were injured in the attack.

Three students were bitten by two dogs on a leash during an Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School class program on Tuesday.

The students were outside for a walk and run program on a local bike path when they were bitten, which caused one student to receive a flesh wound, WPRI reported.

The walk and run program has been suspended while officials are working to locate the dog and its owner, according to WPRI.
