Coventry: Two Injured in Clarke Road Fire
Police and firefighters responded to a home on Clarke Road at 11:55 p.m. Thursday. Two people went to the hospital with minor injuries.
COVENTRY, RI— A fire at 7 Clarke Road injured two people, according to Coventry police. Minutes before midnight, police and firefighters responded to 7 Clarke Road for a house fire. Two people went to the hospital. Their injuries were described as minor.
Firefighters had the fire under control at 12:25 a.m. Friday. The cause is still under investigation by the state fire marshal and the Coventry Fire District.
"The extent of damage to the structure is unknown," police said.

Clarke Road was closed to through traffic while firefighting efforts were underway.
