Detectives Catch Suspect & Recover Cash Registers Stolen from Businesses
Mark Montefusco, 52, of Coventry, is wanted for breaking into three Coventry businesses and one additional break-in in North Kingstown.

COVENTRY, RI—Mark Montefusco, 52, of Coventry, has been charged with three business break-ins within the Town, police said Tuesday.
He is also a suspect in three similar commercial break-ins, which happened in North Kingstown, West Warwick and Exeter. And he may be implicated in a seventh break-in, which happened in West Warwick.
"The arrest was the culmination of a weeks-long investigation into commercial business break-ins in Coventry," police said. After the arrest, West Warwick, North Kingstown, and Rhode Island State Police assisted in the investigation. A warrant was obtained, and Montefusco's residence was searched.

Several stolen cash registers were found on his property, police allege, along with other evidence.
