Dog Quarantined After Alleged Bite: Coventry Police
A 57-year old woman said she was bitten by a Brazilian mastiff on Hollywood Avenue.
From Coventry Police: On 10/11/17 at 1305 hrs, Coventry Police Department received a report of a 57 year old female, who was bitten by a dog on Hollywood Ave. Upon arrival Animal Control Officers and Patrol Officers investigated the incident and it was determined the dog a (Fila Brasileiro) would be seized immediately pending the investigation and to quarantine the animal. The case is still under investigation, the 57 year old female
declined medical treatment at the scene but later went to the hospital for treatment.
