Driver Dead After ATV Crash: Coventry Police

COVENTRY, RI — The driver of an all-terrain vehicle has died after a crash in Coventry, according to police.

Authorities responded to the scene on Cahoone Road shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday, police said. The crash involved a single ATV and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, who are withholding the victim’s identity pending notification of family.

The incident remains under investigation, police said.
