DUI With Child In Car, Assault On Police Officer: Coventry Police Log

COVENTRY, RI — The following people were arrested by Coventry police between Feb. 22 and Feb. 25.

Feb. 22

Steven Lafazia, born in 2022, of Coventry, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked/canceled license, a bench warrant out of Sixth District Court, interval between vehicles-following too close, and visibility of plates.

Heather Dawn Fowler, born in 1983, of Norwich, Connecticut, was charged with DUI liquor or drugs, speeding 11 mph or more in excess of posted speed limit, operating without evidence of insurance and laned roadway violations.

Gabriel Peterson, born in 1990, of Coventry, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

Feb. 24

Jennifer Johnson, born in 1983, of Coventry, was charged with DUI drugs/alcohol (first offense), DUI liquor/drugs with a child under 13 as a passenger, possession of a schedule I-V drug and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Feb. 25

Cameron Dockray, born in 2000, of Coventry, was charged with domestic violence-simple assault and/or battery and domestic-disorderly conduct (first offense).

Christian Michael Robert Hut, born in 1998, of West Warwick, was charged with two counts of simple assault or battery and disorderly conduct.

Timothy Ramsey, born in 1960, of Coventry, was charged with assault of a police officer and other official and resisting legal or illegal arrest.
