Guest Artist:  Kenneth MacDonald,,,,,Metal Sculptor

    Kenneth studied industrial design at RISD & is an award winning sculptor.  He designs & creates metal sculptures in NK and is an artist member of the WAA & Providence Art Club.

Ken works with organic materials & found objects which he leaves in their original state. Hammering away at a piece of stainless steel in a workshop that has been converted into a sculpture barn, Ken gives his material a second life & a chance to exist in the realm of art.

John MacGowan.....Plein Air oil painter, John is a well known artist in the sailing community of Newport & around the world.  His richly colored oil paintings capture the best of nautical scenes & traditional landscapes. A top level racer, with five America's Cup campaigns under his cap, he combines his love of sailing & the outdoors which contributes to his dynamic racing & blue water scenes. He has a working studio in Newport & welcomes visitors.

Susan Klas Wright....."Impressions in Watercolor"

    Susan is a graphic designer, photographer & award winning watercolor artist. She has a  BA in Fine Arts/ Masters in teaching, She is an artist member/teacher of the RIWS & WAA.   

Susan enjoys painting landscapes & portraits with light touch & uses many glazes. Her landscapes are often impressionistic or abstract.
