Meet Doja, a two-and-a-half-year-old pup who is plagued by mobility issues expected of a dog many years her senior.Â
Doja, a beloved member of the Hanna family in Coventry, has a torn ligament in two knees, to go with two bad hips. The surgery to repair her injuries will cost upwards of $4,000, a lot to spend for any family, especially around the holidays.
The Hanna family has cared for Doja since she was a puppy and she has become an important member of the family, the best friend of a 7-year-old girl. "Doja has had an overwhelming warmth and loving personality from day one, changing hearts and minds one pitbull stereotype at a time," Katelyn Hanna writes in her GoFundMe post.
