COVENTRY, RI - Local firefighters are making sure families in need don't go hungry on Thanksgiving.

Firefighters with Anthony, Central Coventry and Hopkins Hill Fire Departments donated 50 turkeys to the Coventry Food Bank on Wednesday.

"This probably the fifth or sixth year in a row that we've done this to stock the Conventry Food Bank to help them with their mission to provide a happy Thanksgiving for the less fortunate families in town," Jim Almagno, a Coventry firefighter, said.
