Five Arrested After Four Month Undercover Drug Investigation
Three Coventry and two West Warwick residents were charged.
On July 18, 2012 five people were arrested after a four month long undercover drug investigation conducted by members of the Detective Division. Detectives acting in an undercover capacity were able to gain the trust of several area drug dealers by posing as drug users/buyers leading to numerous undercover buys.
The five supplied detectives with a variety of prescription drugs. Arrest warrants were obtained and Coventry Detectives assisted by Coventry Police, West Warwick Detectives and Police made the arrests.

On July 19th all five were arraigned in Kent County District Court and were charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver and Conspiracy.
