Updated: Happy Thanksgiving Forever Home for Hope, the Dog

COVENTRY, RI —The Coventry police heard some wonderful news this morning. They wanted to help a black lab found wandering on the bike path near 1101 Main St. They turned to social media to find her owner, but the dog, called 'Hope," also has a large bladder stone, and she needs surgery likely to cost $1,000.

By afternoon, Hope was on the way to a foster home, and Save a Lab rescue was going to arrange for the surgery. And then, Hope found a forever home. Here are the before, the after and the happily-ever-after posts.
