The Hysterical Greer Barnes Debuts at Comix at Foxwoods For Three Nights, Four Shows Beginning June 25, 2015

Presale Tickets For Greer Barnes' Shows Are Currently Available

Comix at Foxwoods welcomes the hilarious physical comedian Greer Barnes for a three-night, four-performance event beginning on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. and ending with his “Nasty Show” on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:30 p.m.

Originally hailing from the Bronx in NYC, Barnes was raised by his mother and Jewish stepfather. As a teenager, athletics led Barnes to baseball, a sport in which he was immensely successful. Having been scouted by the San Francisco Giants, Barnes seemed to be on his way to The Show until he suffered a career-ending injury at age 18.

Following his devastating injury, Barnes began brainstorming, trying to figure out his next move in life. With a natural knack for making people laugh, he decided to pursue his second dream: becoming a stand-up comedian.

In the early stages of his on-stage career, Barnes began performing at any local comedy club and college he could find. Soon after, Barnes found himself headlining some of the most renowned comedy clubs and performance venues across the country. Known as a physical comedian, Barnes intensity never allowed his audience to become disengaged. His harmonious balance of energy and acting out on-stage fittingly complemented his hilarious storytelling.

Barnes credits include commercial work for both the NBA and the NFL. His television credits include “In Living Color,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Chappelle’s Show.” Though he was never truly able to get over baseball, Barnes was able to combine his love for baseball and acting when he appeared with Kevin Costner in the film “For Love of the Game.”
