Incoming Coventry 6th Graders Invited To Tour Middle School

COVENTRY, RI — Soon-to-be sixth graders at Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School have the opportunity to visit the school before the end of this year. School officials host the event every year as a way to help ease the transition from elementary school, which can be a stressful time for some students. On the evening of May 22, students and their parents are invited to attend the hour-long session to become more familiar with middle school. Both parents and students will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the middle school experience.

Two sessions will be held that night to accommodate all Coventry elementary schools. At each session, parents should drop their child in the gym and head to the auditorium for their session. Sessions are scheduled to start promptly on time, so please try to arrive early if possible.

Tiogue, Hopkins Hill, Blackrock and Father J.V. Doyle elementary school parents and students are scheduled for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Washington Oak and Western Coventry elementary school parents and students are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
