K-9 Ammo: The Saga Continues

Ammo completed his training at the state Department of Corrections, and he's on the job, police said.

COVENTRY, RI — The Town's new police dog, K-9 Ammo, has started work, according to Coventry police. Officer Devan Casey and Ammo have completed their training in Search and Narcotics Detection. They started the training in May at the state Department of Corrections.

"Officer Casey and Ammo were very successful during their training," the department said in a Facebook post. "Ammo is now on the road and trained to track missing people, items, fleeing suspects as well as search for numerous types of Narcotics."
