Latest Snow Projections for Friday and Saturday in Coventry

With temperatures plummeting and snow on the way, here's a look at what forecasters are saying to expect tonight into tomorrow.

COVENTRY, RI — After landing a straight jab of subzero windchills, mother nature is coming right back with a left hook to the body in the form of snowy conditions starting Friday night into Saturday morning. The National Weather Service projects two to four inches of snow, with accumulations of about one inch Friday, but with most of the snow starting after 3 a.m.

Saturday will tell a different tale according to the NWS. Snow and sleet will persist until noon, turning to all rain from noon to 3 p.m., with a high near 42. Chance of drizzle after 3 p.m.

Overall, temperatures are expected to plunge to 14 overnight. Luckily, temperatures are set to return to 53 Sunday.
