Local Business takes Ice Bucket Challenge to the Next Step

Wellness provider Preventure, has been challenged to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by one of their very own clients, and they gladly accept! But in true Preventure style, they insisted on taking it one step further.

Lamar Advertising called out Preventure in their Ice Bucket Challenge video and Preventure took that challenge and ran with it. Tuesday, September 2, at 4:30 you’ll find them lined up, buckets at the ready and showing both Preventure pride and support for the fight against ALS. With well over 50 on-site employees they’re stocking up on plenty of ice.

But Preventure couldn’t just stop there. With some brainstorming and a little digging they discovered their local ALS Assocation’s chapter, in Warwick, is having one of their largest fundraisers of the year in just a few weeks’ time- the Walk to Defeat ALS on September 21 at Confreda Sports Complex, also in Warwick. So naturally, the Preventure Team couldn’t resist and ‘challenged’ their fellow employees to sign up for a team, send their Ice Bucket Challenge donations to their Walk team (and therefore their local chapter), and lace up for the walk on the 21st!
