Local Youth Actors to Perform in 'Seussical, Jr.' This Weekend

50 youth performers ages 7-15, including several from Coventry, will be performing in Rhode Island Youth Theatre's production of Seussical, Jr. this weekend, Friday, Feb. 24 at at 7 p.m. and Saturday Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Auditorium, 2115 Broad St., Cranston (next to Rhodes on the Pawtuxet).

The program brings to life many of Dr. Seuss' most beloved characters including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination -Jojo.
