COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry man was arrested after police said he threatened to bomb Coventry Town Hall on Wednesday.

Gilbert Dion, 81, was charged with threatening to place a bomb in a public building. Police told WPRI 12 Town Hall was evacuated Wednesday, but no injuries were reported, and Dion had no bomb paraphernalia on him.
