Lime Rock, Lincoln, Rhode Island was the center of the oldest continuous mining operation in the United States. More than 60 different minerals including bowenite, calcite, quartz, and talc were found during 340 years of quarrying marble for lime. Join us as we learn about the crystal treasures that were found in this historic mining center.
