Misty, a Mini Mare, Missing from Coventry Home

A miniature mare escaped her home in Coventry on Tuesday after the power went out during a severe thunderstorm.

Residents across Coventry have been looking for Misty, a rescued mare who had just been brought to her new home just recently.

“She is quite skittish,” said owner Denise Andre.

Andre said Misty was last seen near Route 102 and the new bridle path.

The mare escaped after the electric fence stopped working due to the power outage.
