New Information Developed in Search for Missing Sterling Teen

COVENTRY, RI—Connecticut state police issued an update in the search for Todd Allen, the 18-year-old not seen since Monday.
"Troopers are continuing the search for Todd Allen," Trooper Kelly Grant said. "At this time, Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime, K9 Search and Rescue teams and the State Police Aviation Unit - Trooper 1 helicopter are searching in the area of South Killingly towards the Rhode Island State line."
The state police are asking volunteers to move out of those areas to allow the authorities to conduct the search.
"Troopers would again ask that if you are independently searching in this area that you please exit the woods to allow our personnel to conduct their search efforts," Grant said.
"New information was developed therefore troopers are broadening the search area," Grant said.
