BUSINESS MANAGER
The Business Manager is responsible for all of the financial needs of WBCA and will report directly to the Headmaster. This position is salaried with benefits.

· Commitment to Christian education and agreement with the school’s philosophy and faith statement
· Bachelor’s Degree, concentration in Finance preferred

· Minimum five years relevant experience
· Competency using Quickbooks
· Self-motivated
· Ability to interface with diverse constituencies
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Excellent computer skills
· Able to work in a fast paced environment
· Strong analytical skills
Responsibilities:
· Manage daily finances, including A/R, A/P, bank deposits, etc.
· Prepare monthly financial reports for Headmaster and Board of Trustees
· Manage registration, tuition and fees and coordinate with tuition payment service
· Perform Human Resource duties
· Prepare and manage payroll
· Manage leases for facility use
· Negotiate contracts with vendors
· Serve on Financial Aid Committee
· Work with Headmaster and Treasurer to prepare a viable budget for upcoming fiscal year
Background:
WBCA is a non-profit, independent Christian school, serving approximately 190 students in Preschool through Grade 8. It is approved by the State of Rhode Island and accredited by ACSI and NEASC.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
