Obituary: Yolanda A. (Di Piro) Rose, 89

Yolanda A. (Di Piro) Rose, 89, of Grant Dr., passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to John O. Rose, Jr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Mary (Balaro) DiPiro.

Yolanda was a sales clerk for many years at Zayres before retiring. She was a past president of the Coventry/West Greenwich Emblem Club and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Lori Gardiner and her late husband Jeffrey of Coventry and June Rose of North Attleboro and two grandchildren, Cory and Victoria Rose. She was a sister of the late Lawrence Di Piro, Rose Lombardi, Isabelle Calitri, Josephine Pensotti and Gladys Mendillo.

Her Funeral was held Friday at 8:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry. Interment will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-7 pm.
