Orange Tabby Cat Found in Coventry

A homeowner found an orange tabby cat with white paws that has been sleeping in a boat behind a house near Read Avenue and Phillips Street for a few days.

The picture of the cat was posted on the RI Lost Pets Facebook page by Heather Paul.

“It looks fluffy when I see it run off but it has been coming back for several days now, and just sleeps,” she said.

The cat appears unhurt, isn’t thin and “seems lost,” according to Paul.

She said the cat seems friendly but runs off when she gets close enough for a picture.
