Parking Ban Enacted In Coventry Ahead Of Winter Storm.
A winter weather advisory has been issued as a storm will dump up to 5 inches of snow and cause hazardous travel conditions in Coventry.
COVENTRY, RI — Coventry announced a parking ban for Tuesday, ahead of a winter storm expected to arrive this evening.
The parking ban will be in effect from 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Coventry residents can help plows do their job by pulling all trash and recycling carts away from the street, along with basketball hoops or other items that block the street. Also, do not blow snow into the street from driveways.

Snow is expected to arrive some time after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
One to 5 inches of snow is forecasted for Rhode Island.
