Parking Bans, School Delays Ahead Of Wednesday Night Snow

Parking bans are in place in several Rhode Island cities and towns ahead of snow forecasted for Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Two to four inches of snow is expected to accumulate between the late evening and early morning hours.

Parking bans are in place in the following cities and towns:

• Barrington: 7 p.m. Wednesday until 12 p.m. Thursday
• Burrillville: 8 p.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Thursday
• Central Falls: 7 p.m. Wednesday until further notice
• Charlestown: Through Thursday
• Coventry: 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday
• Cranston: 10 p.m. Wednesday until further notice
• Cumberland: 7 p.m. Wednesday until 12 p.m. Thursday
• East Greenwich: 10 p.m. Wednesday until further notice
• East Providence: 7 p.m. Wednesday until further notice

Several schools will be delayed Thursday morning. Pawtucket schools and WM Davies, Jr. Career-Tech High School are the only public schools closed on Thursday. Several private and Catholic schools have cannceled school as well.
