Police Arrest Four Allegedly Using Fake Id's & Trying to Withdraw Thousands
Coventry police arrested four people from Brooklyn, N.Y. The suspects allegedly were using fake Id's to withdraw money from a bank.

COVENTRY, RI—Police on Thursday arrested four people suspected of presenting fake identification at a bank and attempting to withdraw money.
According to the arrest report, a local bank called the police and reported a "discrepancy in information received from a female customer attempting a withdrawal."
When officers arrived, they found four people in a parked car nearby. Their investigation indicated a scheme may have been underway to withdraw "thousands of dollars from the bank using fake Id’s. Arrested in the incident are: Allister Sylvester, 31, Collin Thompson, 34, Monique Ellington, 33, and Ana Oppenheimer, 35, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.

"Detectives are aware of numerous other banking locations that were targeted by these individuals, and the investigation will continue," police said.
