Police Arrest Sex Offender Hiding in Bathtub

COVENTRY, RI — Gabriel Seamans, 36, was arrested on Wednesday at a house on Cook Street.

He was found hiding in the bath tub, police said.

Seamans was wanted on warrants, police said. He was also charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in Coventry.

He was previously convicted of 2nd degree child molestation, police said.

An investigation was conducted by Coventry Police Detective Michael Pacheco, an active member of the US Marshal’s Sex Offender Task Force.
