Police & Fire Departments Help Rescue Horse
Nickles, a 24-year-old horse, was in distress and down, but the animal control officer, police and fire helped with the rescue.
COVENTRY, RI — Nickles, the horse, is doing well after a scary episode in Western Coventry. According to police, who posted some photos on Facebook, the 24-year-old animal was in distress. But Coventry animal control, with police and fire and with help from West Greenwich animal control and fire, used a sling to help Nickles up again.
