Police Nab Attempted Robbery Suspect
An East Greenwich man has been fingered for allegedly trying to rob a woman in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
COVENTRY, RI—Kristopher Richard, 20, of East Greenwich, was arrested Thursday for an attempted robbery in the parking lot of the Coventry Wal-Mart.
According to police, he allegedly tried to rob a woman on Feb. 7 early in the morning.
After he was arrested, police obtained a court authorized search warrant, which was executed at Richard’s East Greenwich home. The BB gun (allegedly used during the incident) was seized.

A tip from the East Greenwich Police Department Detective Division led to the arrest, and South Kingstown and North Kingstown police also assisted.
