Pool & Patio Center Opens New Store

is heading into the heat of their 26th year in business, the first year not to be located on Sandy Bottom Road. On Saturday, Apr. 21, Pool & Patio will be hosting their Grand Opening Event from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Activities include manufacturer discounts and specials on most store items, instructional lessons for pool and hot tub owners, in-store contests and music. 

The event will also be highlighting Swimming through the Century with swimsuit models showcasing swimsuits from the early 1900’s to present.

The new location at 475 Tiogue Avenue, sits on the land that once hosted a water slide, mini golf course and batting cages. Pool & Patio Center’s old location at 53 Sandy Bottom Road was a single floor, 5,000 square foot location with minimal parking, storage, and office space. The new location, which they now own, is a three-level building with offices on the top floor along with a full lunch room, 4,300 square foot premier showroom on the main floor, full basement for storage for a total of 7,000 total square feet and a large private parking lot.

"Pool and Patio Center hopes to bring back to life this once popular summer attraction and make it a place families can come to create their own summer oasis," said a release from the business.
