Recent Arrests: May 7 To May 10

Over the period from May 7 to May 10, police charged nine people. Three were cited for traffic violations. Two were picked up on warrants.

COVENTRY, RI — Over the period from May 7 to May 10, police charged nine people. Three were cited for traffic violations. Two were wanted on court warrants. One was charged with shoplifting, and one was arrested in connection with stealing from a car and fraudulent use of credit cards at an automatic teller machine. One arrest was related to domestic violence. One person was charged with violating no contact and family court protective orders.

May 7

William C. Poole, 23 or 24, of West Warwick, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended. He was also cited for rear plate illumination.

Daniel P. Langlais, 34 or 35, of Coventry, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended. He was also cited for operating a car with a suspended registration.

Joel J. Cardoso, 46 or 47, of Coventry, was charged with Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense.

Edward L. Stearly, 30 or 31, of Coventry, was taken into custody on a bench warrant from Third District Court.

Kelsie L. Teribury, 25 or 26, of Coventry, was charged with larceny under $1,500 (theft from a motor vehicle) and with fraudulent use of credit cards (two counts).

May 8

Jeremia Sarita, 20 or 21, of Jamestown, was charged with Shoplifting.

Edward R. Pimental, 27 or 28, of West Warwick, was charged with violation of a family court protective order and with violation of a no contact order.

May 9

Doreen M. Calise, 45 or 46, of Cranston, was taken into custody on a bench warrant from the Sixth District Court.

May 10

William Kelly, 36 or 37, of Coventry, was charged with Domestic simple assault or battery; Domestic vandalism (malicious injury to property); and Domestic Disorderly Conduct.
