In addition, large cardboard cannot be shoved into curbside bins. To help trash collection workers, cardboard must be cut down into smaller pieces.
"If it fits it ships is not the theme we are going with here at Public Works," the department wrote on Facebook. "Please cut cardboard so that it flows easily from the cart when emptied. If you cannot cut the cardboard you may bring it any size to our Transfer Station for free."

Brush piles and yard waste can be placed on the curb for collection, as long as it is properly bundled or bagged. All lawn clippings and leaves must be placed in clean, clearly marked barrels or paper bags. Larger brush needs to be cut into smaller pieces and tied into bundles no larger than three feet long by two feet wide. No logs will be accepted.
