RI State Police Seize 60lbs of Marijuana During Traffic Stop
Rhode Island State Police confiscated $120,000 worth of marijuana during a traffic stop on Friday.

WEST GREENWICH, R.I. -- Rhode Island State Police confiscated 60 pounds of marijuana from a New York City man during a traffic stop Friday morning. Officials estimated the marijuana to be worth approximately $120,000.
Fang P. Li, 34, of Brooklyn, New York was charged with possession of a schedule one drug, 5 kilograms or higher and delivery or possession with intent to deliver and manufacture.
Around 11:15 Friday morning, officers stopped Li's van on I-95 North near Weaver Hill in West Greenwich for a motor vehicle violation. During the investigation, the troopers discovered the marijuana as well as $1,156 in cash.

Li was transported to RISP's Hope Valley barracks, where he was arraigned before a justice of the peace. He was ordered to be held without bail at the ACI until his formal arraignment in Third Division District Court on Monday.
