Coventry Roommates Charged With Child Porn
State police raided a Coventry house this morning, seized digital media and arrested two men.
COVENTRY, RI — A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led state police Wednesday morning to an address on Columbia Avenue. There, the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force raided the home and arrested two roommates, Both are charged with possession of child pornography.
Peter J. Blanchette, 42, and Anthony Pascone, 31, were arrested after a court-authorized search warrant was executed at their residence around 6:30 a.m.
Blanchette and Pascone were both arraigned at Third Division District Court before the Honorable Judge Elaine Bucci and ordered held on $5,000 surety bail with special conditions that include no contact with children and no access to the internet.
