RWU Great Films Series: “Rashomon”

Akira Kurosawa’s 1950 film is arguably the finest ever made about the philosophy of justice. Through an ingenious use of camera and flashbacks, Kurosawa reveals the complexities of human nature as four people recount different versions of the same story: the murder of a man and the rape of his wife.
