Search Called Off For Missing Coventry Man: State Police
Michael Neary has not been found, and state police ended the ground search at 2 p.m. Monday.

COVENTRY, RI — State police have suspended the search for Michael Neary who went missing last week. Neary, 50, was reported missing by his wife on Thursday. His car was found near a wooded area off Burnt Sawmill Road in West Greenwich later that morning, state police said. The search has focused on the woods in the Big River Management Area in West Warwick for the past five days.
"Although the ground search was suspended as of 2 p.m. today, state and local police will continue to pursue any additional leads," spokeswoman Laura Meade Kirk said. "Anyone with information is asked to call the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks at 401-444-1068."
Foul play is not suspected at this time, police said.
