Several Injured In Late-Night Coventry Crash
The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Knotty Oak Road and Washington Street around 11:15 p.m.
COVENTRY, RI — Several people were taken to the hospital late Friday night following a crash at the intersection of Washington Street and Knotty Oak Road around 11:15 p.m. Coventry police said several people were taken to Rhode Island Hospital, but did not release how many people were injured or the severity of their injuries.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Coventry fire and rescue crews were on scene to tend to the occupants of the vehicles before they were taken to the hospital, police said.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined and Coventry police said no arrests have been made at this time.
