UPDATE: Portsmouth Man Located after Silver Alert
Charles Murphy, 79, was last seen in the West Warwick area.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 79-year-old Portsmouth man.

Police said Charles Murphy was last seen Friday night at around 10:30 p.m. after he left a house in West Warwick to return to his Portsmouth home.
Murphy stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 195 lbs and has gray hair and blue eyes.

He was driving a 2013 Mercedes C300 with Rhode Island registration 629-461.

Police said Murphy suffers from the beginning stages of dementia.
