A small, fast-moving storm will bring yet more snow to Rhode Island on Tuesday morning, though it won’t pack the same punch as the last four storms, which have dumped more than 50 inches of snow at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick so far this year.
Commuters are being warned of slippery travel conditions this morning as the snow begins to fall. Total accumulations of 1 to 5 inches are expected with higher totals along the south shore and coastline, according to the National Weather Service.
The snow should taper off by afternoon, leaving behind yet more snow to clean up and more frigid weather. The overnight low will be 9 degrees tonight.
