Snowy Nor'Easter will Impact RI Holiday Travel

A few inches could fall in some Rhode Island cities and towns Wednesday into Thursday.

A winter storm watch will go into effect Wednesday morning as a nor’easter threatens Thanksgiving-related travel in Rhode Island.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow, wind and rain beginning Tuesday night. The worst of the snow is expected Wednesday during the day, though coastal communities and Aquidneck Island might see mostly slush and sleet.

Inland areas will see anywhere from one to five inches of snow, however, and driving conditions will be poor.
