State Police Arrest Suspect in Cranston Breaking and Entering
A Coventry man was arrested on court warrants after state police stopped his car in East Greenwich.

COVENTRY, RI—Charles Palardy, 38, of Coventry, was arrested on Jan. 11 at 10:20 a.m. when state troopers stopped his car in Warwick. He was taken into custody on a bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the initial charge of Larceny – Over $1500 originating out of the Cranston Police Department.
He also was wanted on another Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the initial charge of Possession of Schedule I-V (drugs) originating out of the Warwick Police Department; another Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the initial charge of Domestic Simple Assault – 3rd Offense originating out of the Coventry Police Department; a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Payment on the initial charge of Larceny – Over $1500 originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department; and another bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution on the initial charge of Breaking and Entering originating out of the Cranston Police Department.
He was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to Kent County Superior Court.
