State Police Charge Coventry Man with Child Porn Offenses
Bruce J. Johnson, 50, of Coventry, was charged with possession and with transfer of child pornography, state police said.
COVENTRY, RI— Bruce J. Johnson, 50, of Coventry, was arrested on Jan. 12 by the state police's Computer Crimes Unit / Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
He was charged with two offenses: possession of child pornography; and transfer of child pornography.
State police said he was arraigned in Third Division District Court and released on $10,000.00 personal recognizance. The judge also imposed special bail conditions "to include no internet access and no contact with minors," state police said.
