Sunday Morning Fire In Coventry: No Serious Injuries

COVENTRY, RI—A fire broke out early Sunday morning in a home at 19 Cantaberry Lane, Coventry police said. Central Coventry fire and police responded at 2:47 a.m. for a structure fire in a single family manufactured home. Three people were home, but all escaped with no serious injuries. They were taken to the hospital.

Western Coventry Fire provided mutual aid to Central Coventry with Rescue #8 and transported one patient to Kent Hospital for smoke inhalation, said Skip Mays.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause, the police said.

No information is available yet about the damage.
