Truck Into Building: Tiogue Avenue
The driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, police said. His injuries are reported as serious.
COVENTRY, RI — Police are investigating an accident on Tiogue Avenue. A truck crashed into the corner of the building at 477 Tiogue Ave., police said. The accident happened around 11:23 p.m. Patrol officers said the driver was partly ejected, and the firefighter/paramedics responded. The driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, police said. His injuries are reported as serious. No one else was in the truck when the accident happened.
