Voters Approve Police Station Ballot Question
Per unofficial results, the voters have approved a $12million bond question for the new police station addition and senior center upgrades.

COVENTRY, RI – Voters have approved all the ballot questions, including the bond question for the new police station addition and the upgrades to the senior center.
Here are the unofficial results of the Town Council race.
District 2: Gregory Laboissonniere, 1756 votes (61 percent) versus Peter J. Mello, 1,099 (38.2 percent).

District 3: Kerry L. McGee, 2,280 votes (96.4 percent) was unopposed.
District 5: Debra L. Bacon, 1,889 votes (56.7 percent) versus Michael E. Madonna: 1,437 votes (42.9) percent.

For the School Committee, here are the unofficial results:
District 1: Ann M. Dickson, 1,739 votes (56 percent) versus Dorothy A. Jackvony, 1,349 (43.4 percent).
District 4: David P. Florio, 2,338 votes (98.1 percent) was unopposed.
