Here's your chance to get your foot in the door both here in the congressman's office or in Washington, D.C.

U.S. Congressman Jim Langevin is accepting applications for interns in both his Rhode Island and Washington, D.C., offices.
The position does not pay but it does deliver long-term dividends for people hoping to get a leg up career-wise.
The program is open to “civic-minded college students who are available for at least 10 hours a week,” according to a press release. “A qualified candidate will be well-organized, responsible and dependable, and have strong oral and written communication skills.”

Responsibilities include answering phone calls, drafting constituent correspondence and supporting staff members on various projects. College credit is available, if approved by the institution.
