Warwick School Vice Principal From Coventry Charged With DUI
Todd Grimes, 54, of Coventry, has been the assistant principal at Toll Gate High School in Warwick since 2015. He was arrested in Westerly.

WESTERLY, RI — A Coventry man who serves as the vice principal of Toll Gate High School in Warwick was arrested in Westerly earlier this month and is facing drunken driving charges.
Todd Grimes, 54, was arrested on Feb. 2 and was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (first offense) and refusal to submit to a chemical test (first offense).
Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella said Grimes was taken into custody after a traffic stop in the 10th block of Oak Street. Gingerellla said officers gave Grimes a pre-exit test and a field sobriety test, both of which he failed.

Gingerella said further details about the arrest could not be released, as the case remains under investigation.
Grimes has been the assistant principal at Toll Gate High School since 2015.
